What Barack Obama has done is an incredible advertising campaign, David Swanson, an American writer and journalist, told RT.

“He has sold the world on the idea that he’s pushing for peace, when we have a bigger military budget now than ever with Bush and Cheney, more troops in the field in Afghanistan and Iraq combined than ever with Bush and Cheney, more bases in more countries than the literal empire of bases around the world than ever with Bush and Cheney,” David Swanson said.
