UK to EU - reform or we’re out! (E24)

Published 19 Jan, 2014 05:13 | Updated 19 Jan, 2014 05:12

This week British Chancellor George Osborne warns the EU that the UK may leave the Union if crucial reforms do not take place. Katie Pilbeam gets very different reactions on Osborne's comments from Italy’s Mario Monti and the former president of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus. Katie also catches up with world-renowned US economist Jeffrey Sachs, who was in Moscow for the Gaidar Economic Forum to discuss tax evasion and the ongoing games still being played on Wall Street. Also at the forum, the World Bank’s Rachel Kyte speaks to Venture Capital about the environmental concerns surrounding the controversial technique of fracking natural gas.
