The much-anticipated third Russia-Africa Summit is on the horizon – so RT’s Sanchez Effect discusses African issues with popular blogger and former South African Member of Parliament Mbuyiseni Ndlozi. He says the continent still misses Soviet times, when there were human-oriented projects that invested in people and unity. Ndlozi says that the West is attempting to cut ties between Africa and Russia at any cost, as they need the continent’s resources in order to keep growing. Ndlozi says there is only one way for African nations to reach a bright future – to stay united and count on themselves, as there is no one who can ‘run Africa better than Africans’.
