Major Ukrainian cities report explosions, as air raid sirens sound across the country overnight. Kiev officials say the airstrikes are the most intense since the start of the year. The strikes come a day after a drone attack on the Presidential office of Vladimir Putin in the Russian capital - an attack Moscow says was carried out by Ukraine. Russia's Ambassador to the US slams Washington's reaction to the attack, as 'absurd'. That's as the White House refuses to condemn Kiev for the incident.
