Afghanistan papers important as WikiLeaks – Chris Hedges

Published 16 Dec, 2019 23:40

The Trump administration is expected to announce the withdrawal of around 4,000 troops from Afghanistan amid reports that the US is set to resume peace talks with the Taliban. But will Washington stick to this plan? RT America’s Rachel Blevins gives us the latest. Then former NYT Middle East bureau chief and host of “On Contact” Chris Hedges weighs in on how the mainstream media seems to be ignoring the recently leaked Afghanistan Papers. Co-director of the International Action Center Sara Flounders joins In Question to discuss.
