Is peace an option?

We are witnessing enormous historical changes before our eyes. The American-Israeli war on Iran is shattering security alliances and recasting the Persian Gulf and West Asia in general. Most regional powers and the great powers of Russia and China clearly understand this. They have turned the page. The collective West still has not.
