Marin Katusa on gold, Britain’s next PM

Published 8 Jul, 2016 08:07

As traffic to Cuba formally opens up, US companies in the Bloomberg US Airlines Index find their shares down 26 percent in 2016 so far. That puts them on track for the largest annual decline in five years. In other news, payroll processor ADP says US private sector businesses added 172,000 jobs in June. Ameera David has the details. Gold recently climbed to a two-year high, as investors continue to flock to safe haven assets. Is this rebound for real? Ameera David talks to Katusa Research Chairman Marin Katusa to find out.

After the break, Boom Bust’s Bianca Facchinei reviews how the economy in New Jersey has fared in recent years. Ameera then sits down with milepoint.com co-founder and “View from the Wing” Blogger Gary Leff to talk about the hotel industry. And in the Big Deal, Ameera and Edward Harrison discuss the policy platforms of the last two candidates for the prime minister of the UK.
