Raoul Pal: US recession, China devaluation coming

Published 9 Sep, 2015 07:07

The $100 million BRICS contingent reserve arrangement is now fully operational following its inaugural meetings in Ankara, Turkey this past weekend. The goal behind the agreement is to establish a self-managed contingent reserve arrangement that allows for emergency lending and provides financial support to strengthen the BRICS’ economies. Ameera David weighs in. Then, Edward Harrison sits down with Raoul Pal – founder of Global Macro Investor and Real Vision TV – to talk about the strong dollar and its consequences.

After the break, Bianca Facchinei takes a look at the EU’s latest response to the growing refugee crisis. Then, Ameera and Erin Ade talk about Glencore reporting a 56 percent decline in its share price and its about-face on slashing dividends. And in The Big Deal, Ameera and Edward discuss the latest in Greece.

Take a look!
