Two civilians killed in Ukrainian strike on Russia – governor

Two people have been killed and five others wounded in Ukrainian drone attacks on Bryansk Region, western Russia, local governor Egor Kovalchuk has said.
A 30-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man lost their lives after a kamikaze-drone struck a private home in the settlement of Klimovo, not far from Russia’s border with Ukraine, Kovalchuk wrote in a post on Max on Saturday.
“A tragedy in the border area – civilians killed,” he said, expressing condolences to the relatives of the victims.
Four females and one male were injured by Kiev’s UAVs elsewhere in the region, including a 73-year-old woman in the village of Pogar and a 19-year-old boy in Voronok, he added.
Earlier in the day, Belgorod Region Governor Aleksandr Shuvayev said that he had received information from emergency services about a civilian being killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Schebekino District. The exact time it happened is not yet known, he added.
Four people were also wounded in Ukrainian UAV and artillery strikes across the region over the past 24 hours, Shuvayev said. Three of them are still hospitalized, according to the governor.
