On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to Oscar-winning director and screenwriter Oliver Stone on his new film 'Nuclear Now', which makes the case for why atomic energy is humanity's last shot at avoiding a climate cataclysm. He discusses the deep-rooted fears in society around nuclear power, why contrary to popular belief, nuclear power is safe and far less fatal than other forms of energy, and why renewable energy sources will not be enough to fight the climate crisis. He also discusses the Russia-NATO proxy conflict in Ukraine, and much more.
