Published 28 Dec, 2018 10:14 | Updated 28 Dec, 2018 11:27Moscow does not approve of the publication of the personal details of BBC employees working in Russia, but understands it, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said. “We treat this with understanding, because what was done in the UK was unprecedented, it doesn’t correspond to civilized norms or standards of media freedom,” he explained. On 23 December the Times published a list of journalists working at Sputnik’s UK bureau in Edinburgh and listed their positions. After that a list of BBC reporters and other personnel working in Russia appeared on Russian websites.
