Russian parents abandon new-born baby in Turkey
Published 6 Sep, 2007 12:12 | Updated 6 Sep, 2007 16:12A new-born baby has been left by his Russian parents in the Turkish resort of Antalia. Yulia Korsakova and Aleksey Maryanin traveled to Turkey despite doctor's warnings as Yulia was in her seventh month of pregnancy.
After the baby was prematurely born, the parents were unable to pay the hospital fees.
They left the country for Russia without notifying the local Russian embassy.
Their insurance company is reportedly ready to pay for transportation of the child back home.
