The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released a long delayed report on the CIA’s use of torture as an interrogation method in the years following the September 11th terrorist attacks. Detailing the spy agency’s use of “enhanced interrogation techniques, “ which include rectal force feeding, prolonged sleep deprivation and waterboarding, the review has already been criticized by current and former government officials as a threat to national security. RT’s Manuel Rapalo is in the US Capitol Building with more details.

Focusing only on the spy agency’s “black sites,” the Senate's CIA torture report fails to provide data on sites of alleged and confirmed abuse, including the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, the infamous Abu Ghraib prison and a host of other sites. The Government Accountability Project’s Jesselyn Radack discusses with RT’s Ben Swann.
