President Barack Obama’s legal team is reportedly debating whether to allow for the continued use of ‘enhanced interrogation techniques,’ using a Bush-era interpretation of an international torture ban. When campaigning for the presidency, then candidate Obama vowed to end the use of what most of the Western world considers torture, but pressure from the CIA and others in Washington may have changed his stance. RT’s Ameera David discusses the issue with decorated former intelligence officer, Ray McGovern.

Evidence has emerged potentially proving Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson’s version of events in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Investigators found blood on Wilson’s gun and inside his police cruiser, with some believing this may be enough to change the dominant narrative surrounding the controversial incident that sparked nationwide protests and anger. RT’s Ameera David takes a look at the legal issues surrounding this new evidence with attorney Patrice Sulton of Sulton Law Offices.
