Blackphone promises to do everything possible to protect users' personal information from the National Security Agency and other would-be-snoopers. A joint venture between geeksphone and Silent Circle, the security minded smartphone began shipping Monday to customers who demand high-tech encryption and security in an increasingly electronic world. RT's Ameera David takes a look at the device's technology with Blackphone CEO Toby Weir-Jones.

"We're mad as hell and we [US citizens] don't want to take it anymore!" former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson said during an interview with RT America. While expressing his outrage over the mass surveillance of US citizens, the increasing militarization of local police and a variety of other issues, the Democrat turned Libertarian also took time to thank National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden for his role in revealing government injustices. RT's Ameera David has more of the wide-ranging interview covering Ukraine, the NSA and more.
